Only two foes take the field at once, but they come 25% faster. +10% crit chance.
The Plague Doctor

Every letter festers. · 100 HP
Each typed letter poisons its target with damage over time, but completed words hit 40% softer. Juggle your victims.

Plague Rat Act 1+
Fast, fragile, and endless. Short words – a flick of the fingers, if your Momentum holds.
Cave Bat
Cave Bat Act 1+
The fastest thing in the crypt. Tiny words, but it closes distance while you're busy elsewhere.
Skeleton
Skeleton Act 1+
Takes more than one word to drop. When it survives your first, it re-arms with a fresh one – watch the HP bar.
Drowned Ghoul
Drowned Ghoul Act 1+
Slow, sodden, and mean on contact. Medium words with teeth in them.
Crypt Brute
Crypt Brute Act 1+
A wall of stone flesh. Long words, deep health, devastating if it reaches you. Respect it.
Veiled Wisp
Veiled Wisp Act 1+
Its word is hidden until it drifts close. You cannot target what you cannot read.
The Bone Choir
The Bone Choir Act 1 boss
Three skeletal singers sharing a verse that must be typed in order, chanting rats into the field while any of them still sings. Two verses. No mercy.
The Editor
The Editor Act 2 boss
A spectral librarian that strikes through the letters you haven't typed yet and writes new ones. Your progress survives; your plans do not.
The Lexivore
The Lexivore Act 3 boss
It eats the ends off your words while you type them. When it finally falls, every boss sentence you've beaten this run returns for one last recital.
